Tom is a Partner in the Automotive & Industrial practice at AlixPartners. He has 25 years of consulting and strategy experience in the automotive, industrial, energy, and technology sectors, with special emphasis on growth, M&A, Joint Ventures, portfolio optimization, organization & operating models, and enterprise-level transformations. His specializations include strategic planning, new market entry, and navigating a wide range of business disruptions.​

Prior to joining AlixPartners, Tom was an executive at Cummins, where he held senior-level strategy roles at the corporate, BU, and regional levels. In his most recent role, he was an expat based in Johannesburg, South Africa, leading strategy, marketing, and corporate operations for Africa & the Middle East ​

Prior to Cummins, Tom was in corporate strategy at a large enterprise software company. He also spent 9 years at McKinsey & Company as an analyst and consultant serving automotive & truck OEMs, suppliers & retailers, industrial manufacturers, private equity, and public sector clients.
