Igor Baseski

Selected for a Division Chief T&E position in August 2024 and serves as Ground Vehicle Propulsion and Mobility (GVPM) Division Chief at the Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC), Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC). His current research interests are accelerated testing, digital engineering, vehicle design and mobility, vibration, and modeling & simulation. He first joined the Army at the Tank Automotive Command Research and Development Center in 2010 and has worked in the Physical Simulation Team (Vibration Laboratory). 

In his capacity Dr. Baseski ensures the GVPM T&E is Forging the Future by developing world-class services and testing capability in the areas of power mobility, electrification, and ground system design and optimization. The Ground Vehicle Propulsion and Mobility is the Army’s power mobility and battery testing primary testing facility where the future of testing is happening.
